Scholars Attend LFE Event At Crown Oil Arena

Rochdale Football Club was pleased to host the League Football Education’s ‘My Future Today’ workshop on Tuesday.

Youth Team scholars from Dale, Bury and Oldham Athletic attended the all-day event at the Crown Oil Arena.

It was aimed primarily at the second-year apprentices who are coming towards the end of their scholarship programmes, highlighting the importance of personal development and how it can enhance success both in and out of professional football, as well as supporting transition challenges that may happen.

The event, which has been running since 2015, aims to help apprentices discover more about who they are and what they can achieve, recognise the value of transferable skills they already have, as well as giving them an understanding of what opportunities they can take advantage to help them prepare for the future, whether it’s in football or not.
